        We value because God values:

  • Community; we believe life change happens most effectively in small groups, Bible studies, ministries, serving, and worship.
  • Life change; we believe that Jesus restores, renews, heals, and changes lives. Christ followers are on a lifelong journey of becoming more like Him.
  • Godly leadership; we value being led by servant leaders who strive to empower, equip, think strategically, and be intentional.
  • Commitment; we value commitments to Jesus, to family, to friends, to the church, to serving, and to life-long learning.
  • Sharing; we believe that everyone matters to God, therefore everyone needs to be in a relationship with Christ. We value the opportunity to share Christ.

    We are community. We are family.  First Christian Church is not defined by the buildings or acreage it occupies. First Christian is people—people who may have messed up their lives, and now recognize their need for help. First Christian is a place for healing from life’s hurts and disappointments. First Christian is made of brothers and sisters who are bound together by a growing love for God and each other. 

    Jesus Christ is the head of our family. We have discovered His word to be true in our lives, and He encourages you to experience His truth. Consider whether you sense something missing in your life. 

    Jesus says, "I am the bread of life. He who comes to me will never go hungry, and he who believes in me will never be thirsty.” Jesus promises to fill the empty space in you and fill you with a purpose and hope that will transform your daily life.
